Im back ok really this time

Hey everyone,
sorry for the long layoff apparently PT graduate school takes a lot of your time, who knew?
So instead of a nice long column ive decided to do more of a quick hits type of updates (trust me i have columns in me but time is not a friends of mine)

*Phillies are 2-3 hey at least Gavin Floyd looks good, he should since the Phillies acted like he was "the chosen one" and wouldnt include him in any deal to get anyone near good the last three years.

*Sixers are in the playoffs as of 4/10/05 just having beaten Washington. And at the current standings they dont have to play the Heat, so they may just lose in 5-6 games instead of getting swept.

*Wrestlemania was awesome, the six man ladder match, Rey vs. Eddie, and Shawn vs. Angle match were worth the price of admission and made you realize why you were wrestling fan. Orton and Taker was better than expected i thought Orton was going to win at one point. I cheered like nuts when Hogan came out to "Real american" made me think back to when he Savage and Warrior were in there primes. Saw waaaaaay too much of Big show and Akebono's ass from the sumo challenge (.001 seconds of seeing that would have been too much) however the main events were just average and didnt compare to when Benoit won last year.

*School is starting to amp up big time, with a neuro (no brain surgery jokes) test and electro test this week and the typical atmosphere of stress comes back into the class. Thankfully (at least for me) softball season is starting up and thats my sport! Now that i say that how long do you think ill go 0-for? Either way standing out on the field (even right field) is enough of a relaxer for me to destress from these tests.

*After this semester im going to need a serious night of destressing and as my classmates know thats a dangerous thing (stories later)

*working Sunday mornings at Wawa sucks as i will havwe to get up in 6 hours after im done writing here

*Looks around* nope still no woman leave applications at the door

*I'll start giving everyone a little profile of the important people in my life starting after the test on Monday, ill be as honest as i can be, but of course i have to see these people so no negativity (unless they deserve it!)

* I found out that if you wear an orange shirt Grace with comment about it haha*

*I was just about to post "orange shit" and that would have made that line a lot different*

*Watch House tuesdays at 9pm its good and its on Fox go figure

*being the middle man sucks (ill explain later) funny sucks i mean

*fantasy sports is a goooood thing

*Ludacris (yes i listen to Luda) and surprisingly Will Smith put out so good albums i may write a review if i few like it.

*ill leave you with a quote from Trigun (awesome anime) "Kill the spider to save the butterfly? It is a noble thought but if you do that enough you become a spider yourself"
Ok folks Wawa and test and then ill vent on Monday night!

Im back

Women

Hey everyone,
Its about midnight on a friday night and im sitting at home watching TV and trying to avoid watching 100 total hours of Super Bowl previews. I mean i love football but god i wish theyd play the game already. Anyway while sitting at home on my computer on a friday is usually not a good sign, im just resting up for the party (which will hopefully end in a win) that the rest of the weekend will be.
So while I had the time I thought id discuss something that i loved more than the Eagles just frustrated me just as much: women. This comes about from a lot of things, commericals for the movie Hitch (which doesnt seem like a guy movie I like Will Smith and i like Kevin James (the fat guy in the commericials dancing) and Im glad hes in a bigger movie and Im sure he'll be funny.) discussions through the week, and just being single makes you think about women.
Now im not saying that women are hard to read, play games, and hold all the power, its a given. Guys are the ones that have to make women come to them, i'd make a fishing reference, but it'd just turn into a joke about bait which i think can surmize most people dont want to hear. Thats basically what Hitch is based around, finding those techniques guys (apparently ANY guy) can use to get and keep women. I hope from what i saw in the previews that it shows that not all women can be lured by the same thing and that it takes more than certain tricks to get one (if only it were that easy.) Otherwise ill just be kicking myself for a few days for not finding out about this techniques earlier.
When it comes to women i like physically I like women witha pretty face. Now I can't get into enough detail such as cheek, lips, eyes, etc. when i see a pretty girl i just know it. Hey im not arrogant enought to say that nice cleavage or a nice ass doesnt make me turn my head and from there some times run into things. But the face is most important because without it even the best body is ruined, its a deal breaker, its like a sweet car with a cracked winshield. Its pretty damn hard to stay in a relationship where you can't look the girl in the face. Also, an in-shape person would be nice too. Personality wise I want someone who can create theyre own fun, can not take themselves too seriously, let me be me which means not groaning too loudly at my jokes, being able to just sit and talk about whatever, enjoying a quiet moment every once in a while, and at least being able to stand/understand/(or if im really lucky) like either football, baseball, or wrestling. I want someone dynamic where I know i wont fall into a rut if im with them, i just like amazing people, i know weird!
The reason i bring this up is that twice this week it was said that dating within the PT class is not the best of ideas or shouldnt be done. The funny thing is that now im in grad school basically there are a lot of women that fall meet my criterea and theyre are some pretty cool girls in my class. I can see why people say that especially if theres a bad breakup, and especially if it gets to become a distraction, we're in grad school and we're here to learn. But i dont see that much of a difference from going out with someone outside of the program, if you're having problems or you're too into a person it can be just as bad. While people might say that dating in the program is just out of convenience, who knows better the pressure and all the stuff you're dealing with then someone in the same situation? Plus, ive been around these people for basically 6 months straight so you're getting a good view at the true person warts and all. Its like eating a spicy meal, you know you love spicy foods, and spicy foods are the best, but if you're not careful it can backfire on you and just end up being messy (no not that way out of the gutter people.) I dont know just arguing that side i guess.
OK now that its 1:16 am and i have 9am work ill cut this short and do a sequel tommarow, i hope everyone loved my similes :).
Have a good night

Only the beginning

Hey everyone,
My names is Brett Schiller and welcome to my blog!
Hopefully thats the most generic thing im ever going to write on this site.
I started this blog as a place to write down my thoughts which i commited to after New Years. (also I told myself to stop procrastinating, so i start my New Years' Resolution on January 29th oh well).
I guess ill start with the requiset introduction. I am currently a graduate student at the University of Delaware studying to become a physical therapist and am in my first year of that. This is truely my passion and im loving it. And part of that love goes out to the people of my class, now only 32 it has some of the best people I've ever met and im not just saying that because they'll probably make up the bulk of the people reading this blog. Ill probably give a little profile of most the people in class and since ive been around them for about 6 months I should have a good little bit to say :). I have another group of friends back home (which is Havertown/Haverford PA just outside of Philly) who are the guys i can just sit back and talk shit with. Rick is the one you'll hear about the most as Ive been friends with him the longest and probably am the tightest with (lets all say it together awwww) Been friends with since eight grade and is one of those people that if you are trying to hold in a laugh and you look at and see hes doing the same you just bust out laughing. The other cast of characters include: Schwoebel, Sabo, Burke, Amentt, Jansen, Moran, Joey H and probably a couple i forgeting now.
Im a democrat, but im a moderate, so it means either a) im a uniter, not a divider or b) i can't take a side :).
Im am really into sports like most guys with my biggest loves being 1a) Eagles (finally they're in the Super Bowl) 1b) Phillies (not quite the same record of success) and ive been working for both (the Phils since 97 when is was 13/ Eagles since 2001)
I like the 76ers and Flyers too but both of those sports are soooo much better in playoffs.
I am huge wresting fan and have been since i was 7 or 8. I can remember dressing up as the Legion of Doom and going to house show (a non-televised event) and wearing a replica Intercontinent belt. I really got into wrestling when the Undertaker came around he had and has some of the best entrances ever! and hes still one of my favorites even though hes in his mid-40's
My current top 5 wrestlers:
1) A.J. Styles
2) Chris Benoit
3) Shawn Michaels
4) Low Ki
5) Undertaker
I am currently single, and have been for a few years. Anyone want to help out with that, anyone? :)
Anyways i have a 8am class tommarow, and yes i mean on a SUNDAY! so ill start going into detail when I have more time.
I always promise to be honest, but i wont reveal EVERYTHING, thats for the paysite :).
Night everyone
